Application process. (How did you apply?) 

I mailed him my CV. But when i did not receive any response, i called him up.

First-day experience 

First day i was little nervous. When i went to his office, he took me with him to court. On the way to court he interacted with ,after which i felt relieved as i was too nervous. On first day i was not given much work.

Infrastructure and environment at the office; team strength 

His office was at his home. Infrastructure was not that good. He had two associates and one junior.

Main task (please elaborate) 

Research work was given. To accompany sir to court and look at how he deals with the judges and what kind of work and clients he deals with.

Overall experience; pros & cons 

Pros- daily court visit. Sometimes in HC and sometimes in district courts. In a period of 3 weeks,i everyday visited court. Apart from HC i visited all the 6 district courts of Delhi. In evening he used to call me at his office. Where i used to read the files of next day’s cases. Cons- timing was very hectic. From 9 in morning to 6 in evening at court. Then from 8pm to 11pm at office.

Lessons 

I learned not only about law but also about the life of a lawyer and the struggles through which he has to go.

How likely are you willing to recommend someone to intern there? (Please elaborate.) 

I had very good experience. If someone wants to intern in Delhi, i will recommend them to intern adv. Manjit Singh Ahaluwalia
