First day experience.
I got to learn a lot of things which I didn’t knew about hotel industry.
Infrastructure and environment at the Hotel; team strength.
One of the best infrastructure, situated along the sea side with the biggest private beach in the country.
It was a two months training. In which I worked in front office,f&b and house keeping.
It was totally a great experience working in these departments. In house keeping I used to work as a room attendant trainee in which my hotel employees taught me alot of things about the hotel world how everything work and how to deliver the 5 star service to the guest and maintain the 5 star quality. I also worked in laundry in which I was taught about the different types of linens used in hotel and the washing, drying, and ironing process of each type of linen.
In F&B I learned how to handel guests demands or asking them how satisfied are they with the service and food. I also learned how to hold all the utensils properly and also learned a few table setup.
In Front office departments there are different areas like concierge, guest relation, front desk and guest service center, all of these departments work together to deliver the perfect guest experience which is also helpful in running the hotel smoothly. It is one of the most important department of the hotel which represents the hotel.

Overall experience; Good things & Bad things.
My overall experience was really good.
The good things are that the employees working with me my colleagues were all very helpful and taught me alot of things even if i did something wrong they were there to correct it and help me out.
bad thing was only the salary in the hotel in which i was working was low compared to o.ther countries.
No stipend but instead they gave me all the other facilities like accomodation, food, wifi, laundry and transport to the main city
How likely are you willing to recommend someone to intern there?
I will recommend someone who is interested to get the international exposure and is seeing his/her future working in other country for the most of their life.
Would you recommend any other Hotel for Internship?
There are many other big hotel groups like Marriott , Taj etc. I would like to recommend to seek internship in a resort property or on a island property.
