I applied by mailing my CV

First-day experience

It was good. I was introduced to the basic procedures of the Court and Court mannerisms.

Infrastructure and environment at the office; team strength

Infrastructure aas really good. One would think that the Court being a government building wouldn’t be well built, but that’s absolutely not the case. In fact, the building is huge, with 63 Court Rooms, Mediation Centre, Lok Adalat, and other offices. The Court also has multiple eatery shops.

Main task (please elaborate)

Main tasks were researching on case laws and observing Court proceedings. Besides, I was also given an opportunity to draft a Writ Petition once.

Overall experience; pros & cons

Overall experience was good.

Lessons

I learnt the pros and cons of the practicalities of litigation. And I also learnt how the Court proceedings are practically conducted.

Stipend

None

How likely are you willing to recommend someone to intern there? (Please elaborate.)

In my opinion, every law student must atleast once intern at a Court, because that is where the law actually develops.
