How would you like to introduce yourself to our readers?
Ans. My name is Ritvika Trivedi and I am from Lucknow. I completed my school education from Lucknow Public School. Currently I am pursuing B. Tech from VIT Chennai
What led you to pursue a career in Engineering?
Ans. It was both my choice as well as the influence of the school that led me to choose engineering as my career. My interest lies in the technical aspects and how to implement things practically.
How much role, according to you, does coaching plays in getting into a good college? Is it essential for an aspiring engineer to join a coaching institute?
Nowadays, just by studying what is taught at school, it becomes bit difficult to get into a good engineering college. Understanding of various concepts, practising mock tests experience can only be gained either if one joins some coaching class or devotes extra time by learning through online material.

Ans. Yes, it is important as it gives an experience. But in my case internship played no such significant role in my career.
There is a general belief that the education provided in engineering colleges is largely theoretical in its approach. How far is it true? Do you think that the education provided by your college has prepared you sufficiently for various activities that you be undertaking during your job?
